Who We Are
The Center for Advanced Psychoanalytic Studies (CAPS) is a group of psychoanalyts that meet throughout the year to compare cases, study procedures and discuss topics related to their practices.
Our groups meet in the spring and fall in Princeton, NJ. We have over 185 members in 13 groups with a capacity of 16 participants per group. CAPS was established in 1950.
2012 ASPEN CONFERENCE
Our 2012 conference will take place from July 29th – August 11th.
Every two years CAPS hosts a 2 week conference in Aspen, CO. This event is not only for our members but also for other qualified participants outside of our organization. If you are interested in joining CAPS, this is a wonderful way to get your feet wet and find out what we're all about!
